Spa Etiquette
Our spa is a place of tranquility. Relaxation is the key to the success of our treatments. To enjoy your spa experience to the fullest, we recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled reservation. This will allow you time to check in and change. Arriving late will unfortunately result in the loss of time toward your service. You will be modestly draped at all times during your services. To experience the most relaxing treatment, we suggest that you disrobe completely before any body treatment services. Disposable undergarments are provided if you prefer, or you may wear a swimsuit. When reserving a service, please inform our receptionist if you have any health issues or may be pregnant. Anything else we can help you with, please to not hesitate to ask.
If this is your first visit, please allow extra time to fill out your personal profile, so you can relax, unwind, and enjoy some of our other amenities. The more you achieve a state of relaxation prior to your treatment, the more beneficial your treatment will be.
Cancellation Policy
We are aware that at times you need to change
your appointment. We kindly ask that you give us
24 hours notice before a single service and 48
hours notice before weekend, multiple, or
package services. Failure to cancel within 24
hours will unfortunately result in a full service
charge. All reservations must be confirmed with a
credit card or gift card number.
Payment
Payment is made at the front desk at the end of
your visit. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American
Express, Discover and Debit Card. Please bring
another form of gratuity, as we do not give cash
back on credit cards. All gratuity must be in a
check or cash form.
Guest Services
Please direct any concerns or challenges to our
Front Desk or General Manager. We appreciate
any and all feedback which is very valuable to our
quest for continuous improvement.
Refreshments
At Designer's Denn, our beverage carts are
always stocked with an array of beverages and
healthy snacks. In the spa quiet room, we provide
detoxifying cucumber water and an assortment of
dried & fresh fruit and nuts. Lunch is provided with
some spa packages and is available to all guests
for a minimal fee. If you desire a lunch, please
request a Spa Menu upon arrival for your visit.
What to Bring
Designer's Denn provides bathrobes, slippers,
and a personal locker during your visit. We also
have an aromatherapy steam shower with hair products
and amenities as well as a blow dryer for your
convenience. Because we do not assume
responsibility for personal items, please leave all
jewelry and valuables at home or in your locker.
To maintain a relaxing environment, all cell
phones must be turned off or on vibrate. However,
if you need to be reached in an emergency, you
may leave our front desk number. We will notify
you immediately if needed.
Staff Selection
Our staff's commitment is to your complete satisfaction and quality of service. It is very common for our guests to work with more than two or three professionals in a given area, for the sake of scheduling convenience and economy. Our front desk staff is committed to suiting the best personalities for you.
Children
The salon & spa is an adult-oriented atmosphere.
We do not allow access to children under the age
of 12. A parent or guardian must be present or
give signed consent for any body treatments given
to a minor under the age of 18.
Health Issues for Spa Services
Please be forthcoming with your personal health
so that we can help you plan accordingly. If you
have high blood pressure or a heart condition, it
may be best to avoid body wraps or any
treatments that involves heat or detoxification. If
you are allergic to iodine, avoid marine products
such as seaweed. If you have varicose veins,
avoid body scrubs to those areas. If you are
pregnant, avoid essential oils, detoxification, and
anything that could raise your body temperature
such as body wraps, steam rooms and
hydrotherapy tubs.
